Virtual Yoga Anatomy workshops
Learn the Anatomy essentials needed to teach asana classes safely.
Session 1 (4 hours):
Focus on Body Systems and how each system factors into Yoga practices
Learn the basics of the Nervous System
Introduction to Fascia
Session 2 (5 hours):
Mechanics of Breath
Muscles of Breath
How breathing practices affect the body and mind
Session 3 (6 hours):
Major joints in the body
Range of motion of the joints
How to move safely in asana
After completion of this training you will receive a PDF certificate to present to the Yoga Alliance as Continuing Education credits. They are currently allowing online trainings to be counted as contact hours.
All sessions will be delivered via Zoom. You'll need to download this free app prior to starting the course.
