Do you want to delve deep into your Yoga practice, but without the goal of becoming a Yoga Teacher? We welcome you to join us for a three week Yoga practice intensive. This program will run in conjunction with a 200 hour Yoga Teacher training program, however Yoga Intensive students will not be required to attend all classes, will not participate in practice teaching and will not receive a Yoga Teacher Certification upon completion of the program.
Yoga Intensive students will have the opportunity to learn about the complete practice of Yoga, and also participate in activities that will compliment their learning and practice. These may include; surf lessons, hiking, zip-line, horse back riding, spa services, snorkeling and more. Please note that these extra activities are not included in the Yoga Intensive price.
The Transformational Yoga Journey is a very special week. The week is about developing a deeper connection with yourself.
Yoga will be offered every morning and evening. Morning classes are 90 mins and give the body energy while leaving the mind feeling peaceful and calm. Each day we will explore a variety of yoga such as hatha, yin, yin/yang, and vinyasa.
Whether you are new or advanced in your yoga practice, classes are for everyone. There will be options to have a gentler practice or even a more challenging class. Everyone comes to the mat with their own unique abilities and limitations. Together we create a safe accepting practice that meets us all where we are.
During the week you will have plenty of time for excursions, rest, or swimming. At the end of each day, just before dinner, a 60 min evening yoga class will be offered. This class is very restorative and gentle and sequenced to relieve the muscles of tension from surfing, walking, hiking, swimming, or even inactivity.
During the yoga classes I will take you through different style of meditation, and touch on tangible ways to allow yourself to let go and be in meditation rather than your thoughts.
